About 6:15am, Friday, September 19th, Gracie Genevieve Powers, just 19 days shy of what would have been her15th birthday, our beloved Standard Schnauzer passed away. She waited for "Mr. Walk" my husband Pat to bring her the first dog treat of the day. When he went back to check on her again in a few minutes, she had passed. Gracie has been in our lives since October 28, 2000. She quickly took over our lives, becoming the alpha and we were all happy to be in her pack.
